Literature Text

One night while walking alone
I chanced upon an angel.
His long thin body caved in,
His thich black wings wrapped around him.
Carefully I approached this lonesome creature
And dared place a hand on his shoulder;
He just looked so alone.
His head turned up to face me,
My heart stopped in my chest.
His porcelain cheeks were stained with tears
As coal black as my motal soul.
His full perfect lips trembled with sadness,
Light and pink and devastating in their beauty.
I was stunned,
Left staring
As his tears continued to flow.
Finally,
'Angel', I spoke with my hand on his shoulder
'Why is it that you cry?'
His lips ceased their trembling,
His eyes honing in on my face,
Eyes so inhumanly beautiful.
'Why do you mock me?'
The scorn in his immortal words burned my soul.
'Angel, I do not mock.
I swear I only mean good.
A creature such as you should not be crying.'
He shook his head and a tear splattered to the ground.
'A creature such as me,
Such nonsense.
You mortals are all the same.'
His arms clutched tighter to his body
And he hid his face there.
'Angel', I began again.
'Please tell me why.
Why do you shed tears,
An act unfitting for a beautiful immortal like you.'
His shoulders stiffened,
His back straightened as he stood to look at me.
'Beautiful?
Mortal, is that how you would describe me?'
His long-fingered hands gestured
To his make-up smeared face of delicate beauty.
To his magnificently tall thin frame,
To the dark human garments he was clothed in.
'Angel, but of course.
Of course you are beautiful.'
His eyes of warm earth widened as he watched me,
As he watched my bewildered expression.
'Mortal...'
He spoke quietly and with a sense of awe.
'Mortal, you are one of a kind,
When I told that your kind was all the same
I knew that I was right.
I had seen with my own eyes,
Felt with my own heart
That your kind rejects even the most pure spirits,
That your kind mocks and insults and rejects.
Your kind destroys.
Mortals are all the same.
Yet...'
He paused and placed his hand on mine.
'Yet here you stand,
Helping out one who all others had denied,
Trying despite the difficulty
Because you understand.'
The glorious immortal who stood before me,
He smiled a smile as bright as heaven
And pulled my hand to his chest.
'Mortal, you are special
Because you see what is really there.
You and only you deserve the love that I can give.
Mortal, I pledge to you all that I have:
My heart,
My soul,
My servitude,
My guidance,
My love.
Mortal, know that I will forever be with you.
Mortal, I am yours to command.'
I felt a smile grow on my face
As I looked up at my guardian angel.
'Angel, I have but one request:
My name is not mortal.
No, for I am something else,
Something more.
Angel, call me yours.'
'As you wish.'
And he smiled.
Yet another poem about Bill Kaulitz. This one came to me at night after I had watched a YouTube video about how much pain Bill goes through because he is judged by everyone (the mortals in this poem). It made me so sad and it made me wish that I could do something to help ease his pain.

[link] Please watch this, it's so sad...

But other than that, comment and like and watch and all of that. Tell me what you think about this format, it's a little different from my normal poetry.
